A Letter from Our President
Pullers:
Just to let you know PVTP has found a sled for this upcoming season. We are working on the schedule now and when we get it done it will be added to the web site. The news letter to all members will be mailed out shortly after the schedule is done and I will also be posting it here. There is a pull coming up at the end of this month so keep checking back here for more info on this pull.
There was a couple of different rules added to Div. I and II tractors and the pickup rules as well. The main rules for tractors in Div. I was some new weight classes were added. 3000,4000,5000,6000lbs classed were added and you can pull in any gear now just as long as you don't break the speed limit. So keep you eye out on the rules pages as these will be updated soon with the new rules.
Thanks,
Dirk Bauerle, President of PVTP
Puller of the Year for 2008

Larry Linstrom - 2008 Puller of the Year
The puller of the year for 2008 is Larry Linstrom. Larry was very deserving of the award for all the hard work he has done for the club as webmaster. If Larry wasn't going to do the web then I would have to do it, so thanks Larry!!! Larry pulls a very stout JD G in Div II. So stay out of his way since he does take it to the end of the track!!! When you see Larry pulling this year give him a big thank you for all the hard work he has done for our club and congratulate him for being the 2008 PULLER OF THE YEAR.
2008 Appreciation Award

Ken Wells - 2008 Appreciation Award
A new award this year was the appreciation award. It went to Ken Wells for all the volunteering he has done for the club. At every pull he went to he always filled in anyway he could to help make things go smoothly. I never did see Ken rest much, he was always standing at the far end of the track where every puller want to end up, doing his part in getting us started and stopped before we actually wanted to be stopped. A big thanks to Ken!!!
